I dont mean to rain on your parade...

But FAF Korea has alwyas had alot of gorges...

...and valleys...

Have you not flown FAF before?

Now the beauty of your work is that its done so easily, quickly, and accurately! My mountian building took me quite a while to do and was extremely boring, tedious work...

Post some more shots of the full ranges...

Also can you show me some shots of what Seoul looks like? Or is this not the Korean map? I am very interested in seeing how the rolling mountianous area looks like around seoul, even if the tiling is all off...

Please post a bunch of shots from all around the map so I can get a feeling for how its going to look and the changes I will have to make to my facilites and airbases to compensate...

Plus, if you need storage for these shots let me know and I can host them for you...

I particularly like this shot, because of the crisp, sharp line of the mountian peak...

Here's the mountainous stuff in/around Seoul. There's a mismatch in how the terrain fits under the textures so the airport is all discombobulated. There's probably a shift of about eh, maybe 10 terrain tiles? Maybe less, I can send you what I have done for you to look at and make comments, complaints, etc. etc. etc.

No compliants here!! Cool

I think this is great stuff! my Seoul was way to flat! ...

When can I get a copy of this T2 file? I can flatten specific areas, like the runways, and leave the elevated terrains around it, as Soeul is a city with many elevated ground areas...

I just never had the desire to do it beasue it was such slow work! But when I seeyour results I say WOW!!

Gimme Gimme!!!! Very Happy

Plus, IIRC I expanded the Korea Map westward to give more terrain for Seoul and the international airport...

I bet that there are sections of raised water where real mountians would be, that we need to tile over...

You have rekindled my enthusiasm for terrain work Rad! Awesome stuff you are doing!!! Very Happy

Cant wait to see more! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Rad,

Any status on the testing you were going to do to see if we could incorporate specific area elevations to merge them into the exsiting FAF Korea Map so that areas that dont have to much elevation changes can still be used to overcome the elevation engine limits in FA?
