I voted for the P-47 Jug, as it was the longest in combat of all the types listed, and even served in the pacific.

Does kill ratio just mean air to air kills? If ground kills are included I might choose the P47, too.

Kill ratios is victories to losses ratio for airborne kills only.

I vote for the Corsair. I have read the Wildcat had a 12 to 1 ratio. I am not sure of Army planes. I think it was probably a Navy plane.

I voted for the P-47. I'm willing to bet planes that served mainly in Europe had the higher ratios.
