Fleet Command worked for me but I never played it so I uninstalled it. I didn't do anything special though.

I get the same error on JSF, no matter what compatibility I add to the shortcut...

I also get a non Win32 warning on the fleetcommand setup file and it wont install...

I remember having problems with the Fleet Command installation, too.

There was some fix for this, though.

If I remember correctly the fix was a file called "janesfc_2kxp.zip"

Thanks for the two patches Kap...

Dont think they will be able to be helpful though...

Unfortuantely the Fleet Command patch is deesigned to cure crashes, not cure installation failure...

The JSF patch is simple voodoo drivers.

Thanks for trying though.

I stand corrected!!!!

The Fleet Command installer works great! The problem was that the Microsoft Antispyware was keping the patch from opening and running!!

You have to shutdwon the antispyware before it will install!

Thanks a ton Kap!

Duke can use this as well...

ok, foot kissing delayed.

It's called "DOSBox" I thought it was to run any older games ( like JSF) but apparently it's only for running DOS games on XP and other new Windows OS's. But maybee I can get Janes Longbow to run with it!!
