I created a new Predator shape from the Recon Drone 1 shape...

I expanded and repositioned the wings, extended the fuselage, changed the design of the nose, and altered the placement of the camera pod and the landing gear.

Here it is so far...

Next will be the RQ-9 / MQ-9 Reaper...

Final edits on the MQ-1/RQ-1 Predator...

Finished editing the gear location as well as the skin.

Notice the proper shape of the nose gear. Also fixed the over compression on the main gear...

Also thinned out the rear fuselage and added more height to the nose radar enclosure.

Also changed the wings slightly to better represent their slight taper...

You often failed to cease to amaze me with your determinations and you rmodelling skills you have been developing, when it come to modifying the model provided by FA simulator itself.

You have improved many shapes, and this is what will improve the immerse feeling of FA with our FAF!

I have said this, and I will say this again, Exellent job CAG!

Cool

Thanks Eagle! Its been awhile since you visited!

I try to do the best I can with the limitiations I have with these original shapes.

To bad a real shape editing tool was never created, as it would help immensely to be able to do drop and drag changes to polygons in a GUI interface instead of manual hex calculations to the shape file in a hex editor!

Oh well, we do with what we have... Very Happy
