ooopps lol
Canberra: light bomber, night bomber, FLIR bomber, high alt recon, VERY high alt recon ( the F ), NASA shuttle launch chase plane ( takes pics during launch checking for debris damage at high altitudes ), target tow and (GULP ) GUNSHIP!!!!! Yup during VietNam a Canberra was modified with 4 ( or more ) Vulcan guns pointing straight down mounted in the bombay. It flew straight over targets with guns blazing and was never seen again lol wonder why lol

So whats wrong with that statement... 
It didnt enter service before the Canberra, but many years after...
