I have figured out a way to have helos carry slung cargo while flying at altitude...
These helos will be scenery only, and not be able to land or be able to drop the cargo, but they will be great to use for eye candy during missions...
I will build a few based on the Chinook and take some screenshots later in the week.

CAG were you able to perfect this? I would love to see Chinooks carrying slung loads!

So far its worked in testing, but I have not yet finished the work. What I have determined is that this will only work with a helo flying over flat ground at a specific altitude, unless I decide to only show the cargo and not the netting or rope holding the cargo to the helo. Not sure I will want to do that since it will look rather strange to have the cargo "floating" in mid air under the helo and not tied to it...
Again, check back for future updates with screenshots if I can make this work...
Its a bit hectic trying to get back into the swing of things of working on FAF but hopefully this weekend will get me re-oriented to the project!
