Kaps vote is also logical, but did the Soviets really produce that many Mi-8/17s to out strip Huey production? Also the Chinook is still in production, 40 years after it entered service... The Huey has been everywhere, sure, but as far as I know not as much as the Hip, which also has 116 variants. Yeah there are alot of claims out htere on the net... The data I used for this one comes from Janes. It lists one specific helo. The missing helo from the list was due to not being able to have more then 6 choices for the poll... I am impressed though, everyone is approaching this on a very logical and informed level! Am I on the right forum?
