Sorry CAG! I voted for the B-58 Hustler, due to its large size and pure delta wing. However I also voted for the B-58 because of its squadron service. |

I believe the largest deltawing of the group is the Space Shuttle, but does fleet service correspond to squadron service? I thought it might. |

That would be the Vulcan bomber. Much larger area than the B-58. Space Shuttle isn't in a squadron. Tu-144 (nice touch CAG). XB-70 is GODLIKE but never flew in service. Mirage IV is tiny. B-58 is a good guess. |

For the past like 4 hours I've been meddling with the NYCRSC site, we're going live at noon with a message board, some pics, and some other things so it's been a big and busy night. Mine eyes are tired. |

does "largest" mean overall size or weight?
XB-70 and TU-144 wernt "pure delta" both had canards and technically the STS is a cranked arrow compound delta.
I'll vote for the B.2 Avro Vulcan which spurred the ATB/B-2 programs with it's ability to dissapear on RADAR lol. _________________ FAF/FA-2 FM Wizard

I said B-58...
I dont think the shuttle counts, and I have never heard of the Vulcan or B-70, and the M-IV is a mosquito.
Murphy's (or better yet CAG's) Law states that I will not get the correct answer to this poll... _________________

CAG
I voted for the Vulcan bomber. It could be a dice toss for the B58. The Space Shuttle and B-70 never saw squadron service, The Mirage is pretty small. I hope to guess one of these right someday.

Well the Vulcan Bomber seems to be the most popular of the votes so far...
Though it isnt the largest delta wing aircraft in the poll, it did indeed serve in squadron service...
However, here is a hint for everyone...
In the Red Airforce, during the reign of the Soiet Union, all civilian transports also held a military registry and were assigned to squadron service in the advent of war...
