I vote for the "Able Dog". It was around for a long time in US and other country's military. It fought it's way through Vietnam.  It also had many operational models for specific missions.

Yep the Sandy was indeed in service for a long time, but was it in production for a long time? Its production line ended in the 1950s, just as it did for many of the others in the poll...

I think it could be the Corsair. It was in production until well into the Korean War in the 1950s.

And the answer is... The A-1 Skyraider!
This aircraft was produced from 1945 to 1957. Making it the longest produced WWII designed aircraft...
18 of you got this one right! Good job people!
Now what should I do for the next poll? Hmmmmm...
